Are you seeking balance and regulation in your life? Are you experiencing discomfort or distress and want relief?
Welcome to my Teletherapy Practice, I am so glad you are here!
My name is Angel Williams and I am a Licensed Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical (credential #SC 61074426) and under Clinical Supervision of Kendra C. Roberson, Ph.D, LCSW (License #LW00009345).
I am an enrolled Muckleshoot Tribal Member. I earned a Master of Social Work from University of Washington with a Health/Mental Health Concentration.
I have experience working with children, adults, and families experiencing a variety of mental health conditions and disorders. My work experience includes Post-Secondary Education Counseling, Community Education & Prevention, Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Advocacy, Indian Child Welfare Caseworker, Early Childhood Education Program Management, Community Mental Health, and School Social Work. I have helped clients facing a variety or challenges including but not limited to: trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family disfunction, social skills, reunification, parenting, grief/loss, and more.
I provide individual counseling to adults experiencing variety of issues. My areas of specialized experience include issues related to healing generational trauma and individuals experiencing systemic racial oppression.
My therapeutic orientation is grounded in Systems Theory and Relational Cultural Theory. As an Indigenous therapist, I come to this work with an emphasis to know where we come from, what has been our environment, and if these factors have contributed to the issues one is facing. Connection is essential and I believe people heal through mutually empathic relationships. Using an integrative therapeutic approach, I utilize variety of evidenced-based treatment modalities.
I do not panel with insurance and offer super bills for out-of-network benefits.
